Where's The Data

So, in the news I hear that Madonna went to Africa and adopted an infant. Not too long ago, Angelina Jolie went to Southeast Asia and adopted an infant. Coupled with these humanitarian efforts, there have been rumblings of other celebrities planning on adopting infants from foreign countries.

This is all well and good but, frankly, I'm having difficulty locating a link to the data source which indicates that the last available American infant was adopted. Anybody?
