Woman Jailed for Sex with Boy

(Charleston, West Virginia) A 22-year-old mother of two, Susanna "Susie" Mae Canterbury, has been arrested for engaging in sex with a 15-year-old boy. The boy's mother alerted the State Police that her son had been sexually assaulted by Canterbury. According to the criminal complaint, Susie Mae knew the boy was only 15 when she had sex with him.

Canterbury has been charged with third-degree sexual assault which carries up to five years in prison upon conviction. She was booked into the South Central Regional Jail with bond set at $10,000 property or 10 percent cash.
