Woman Gets Home Confinement for Video Sex with Boy

(Fairmont, West Virginia) After pleading guilty to sexual assault, 21-year-old Kristin Leichliter was sentenced today to 3 to 15 years of home confinement for engaging in sex with a 13-year-old boy. The sex episode was videotaped by Leichliter's husband, Jason.

Marion Circuit Judge David Janes also ordered Leichliter to register as a sex offender for life and prohibited her from having any contact with boys younger than 18.

Jason Leichliter, now the ex-husband, accepted a deal and pleaded guilty to sexual assault. He was sentenced to up to 15 years in prison.

I'm fairly flummoxed. As reported, Kristin Leichliter has sex with a 13-year-old and gets sent home. Her husband videotapes the sex and gets sent to prison. Seems screwy to me.
