California Teacher Accused of Sex with Boy

(Roseville, California) A 28-year-old teacher at Silverado Middle School, Kelly Christine Spaich, was arrested Friday for allegedly engaging in a six-month sexual relationship with a 16-year-old former student.

An unnamed third party alerted authorities to the alleged relationship. Investigators interviewed the boy and determined that the relationship was not forced.

Spaich has been charged with unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. She was booked and released on $150,000 bail.
