The skeleton of a giant feathered dinosaur has been found in the Gobi Desert in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Scientists say the bird-like creature, called Gigantoraptor erlianensis, lived more than 70 million years ago and weighed more than 3,000 pounds. Dr. Henry Gee of Nature magazine said the newly-found dinosaur would have looked strange, "like an extremely gigantic giant rubber chicken."
