Rice Cakes and Water

(Conewago Township, Pennsylvania) Food nazism has surfaced in the Northeastern School District. First, it was decided to measure the body-mass index (BMI) of all the students as part of a wellness program and keep the results less than confidential.

Parents are upset since their fifth-grade kids are now overly self-conscious, even alarmed, about their weight and in some cases have refused to eat. The weasely school board blames "government mandates."

The wellness program also eliminates pizza and cupcake parties for special occasions in the classroom and provides replacement "baskets of healthy alternatives." How yummy!

In summary, the wellness program is making some people sick. I'll predict that vegetarianism will ultimately be pushed.
