Teacher Arrested for Dealing Drugs

(West Memphis, Arkansas) A 48-year-old substitute teacher and school bus driver for Desoto County Schools, Melinda Haas, has been arrested for selling drugs.

Haas allegedly "sold and delivered a bottle of liquid Morphine and 50 Xanax pills to an undercover officer of the West Memphis Police Department."

One would imagine that a bottle of liquid morphine and 50 Xanax would be rather difficult to obtain yet they were in the possession of a bus driver-teacher. Curious, I'd say.
