(Sharon, Pennsylvania) A 29-year-old local woman, Gloria Guthrie, surrendered to police this week to face charges stemming from allegedly engaging in sex with two teen boys, one age 15 and the other under 16.
According to Sharon Police Chief Mike Menster, Guthrie has been charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault and two counts of corruption of minors.
Ms. Guthrie is accused of having sexual intercourse and oral sex with the boys, one of whom is 15, police said. The age of the other boy was not available Wednesday, but police said he was under the age of 16.Guthrie was booked and released on personal recognizance bond. A court appearance is scheduled for May 8.
The assaults were reported to police Monday, Menster said. There were multiple incidents between May and August 2007 at a home in the 300 block of Prospect Street, Menster said.
Police said Ms. Guthrie was an acquaintance of the boys’ parents.
