Day Carer Arrested for Child Injuries

(Boise, Idaho) A 37-year-old day care operator, Dawn Seekamp, was arrested this week for allegedly slamming a one-year-old infant into a high chair, causing multiple fractures to the child's femur.
According to court documents, the incident occurred on Monday when she allegedly slammed the infant into a high chair, which caused multiple fractures to the infant's right femur.

Officials say Seekamp runs a state-licensed daycare facility out of her home on Bently Drive in Boise. She is currently being held on a $1 million bond.

Authorities with Ada County said on Wednesday that conditions inside the daycare were extremely filthy and that feces was seen throughout the home on the walls.
State health and welfare authorities revoked Seekamp's day care license in 2006.

Be careful who you place your child with.
