(Dayton, Ohio) Today, a Montgomery County jury convicted China Arnold, 28, of microwaving her 28-day-old baby to death. The penalty phase of the trial starts tomorrow. Arnold could be sentenced to be executed for aggravated murder.
However, if the jury recommends death, Common Pleas Judge Mary Wiseman can reject the guidance and impose a prison term.
