New York Times Suffering

From AdAge:
Ratings agencies expressed new concerns about The New York Times Co. on Oct. 23 after the company issued a dour report for the third quarter, citing a soft advertising market and doubts about the economy.
The Times saw a gluteal-clinching revenue drop of 14.4% in the third quarter. It's blamed on a sour economy and a soft advertising market.

Of course, there's no mention of the effect resulting from the Times being generally recognized as a leftist political house-rag.
