Texas Woman Accused of Sex with Boy

(McAllen, Texas) A 36-year-old local woman, Lissette Sparks, was arrested last week for allegedly engaging in sex with a 16-year-old boy. It's reported that Sparks allegedly groomed the boy via communications for two years on the Internet and by telephone before performing sex with him.

Sparks has been charged with four counts of felony sexual assault of a child.

From March 11 to 16, police said, Sparks picked up the boy, now 16, from school after his mother dropped him off there.

The pair would then go to Sparks' apartment on the 1200 block of West Nolana, where she performed oral sex on him on four occasions, according to court documents in the case. The teen then returned to school before the end of the day.

Sparks was booked into custody at the Hidalgo County Jail with bond set at $300,000.
