Alabama Woman Gets More Time in Sex Case - Updated

(Coffee County, Alabama) In the case of Kelli Nicole Hussey (aka Kelli Nicole Champion), 36, it seems she has been convicted again for raping the same 12-year-old child on another occasion in Clay County.

She will now serve an additional 20 years in prison.
According to Attorney General Luther Strange, 36-year-old Ashland resident Kelli Champion Hussey has been sentenced to 20 years imprisonment to be followed by 10 years of supervised release after she pleaded guilty to First-Degree Rape of a Child.

Hussey is currently incarcerated for additional sex crimes she previously committed against the same child victim. She previously served prison time for sex crimes against a different child victim.

Hussey's 20 year sentence will run concurrently with the 10 year sentence she received for a 2009 Coffee County Circuit Court conviction for second-degree rape and multiple other sex crimes.
Therefore, assuming Ms. Champion Hussey serves all her time, she'll get out of prison in 2029.

Alabama Female Molests Again
[Previous 6/9/09 post]
(Enterprise, Alabama) In 2002, a 27-year-old local woman, Kelli Nicole Hussey (aka Kelli Nicole Champion), was convicted of first-degree sexual abuse for engaging in illicit relations with a 12-year-old Coffee County boy.

She was sentenced to three years in prison and released in February 2005 at which time she registered as a sex offender.

In May 2007, Hussey (aka Champion) was arrested on two counts of rape and one count of sodomy, offenses committed against a 12-year-old boy. She was booked into custody at the Coffee County Jail with bond set at $80,000. At the time, it was also reported that she was pregnant. No followup report on her alleged pregnancy is known.

Last Friday, 34-year-old Kelli Nicole Hussey, also known as Kelli Champion, pleaded guilty to first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy and second-degree rape and was sentenced by Circuit Judge Jeff Kelly to 10 years in prison.
