(Bangor, North Wales) The founder of the 500,000-strong Jedi religion, Daniel Jones, 23, was allegedly kicked out of a Tesco supermarket for failing to remove his hood.

Jones said his Jedi religion requires that he wear the hood in public but the store would not let him.
'They said: "Take it off", and I said "No, its part of my religion. It's part of my religious right." I gave them a Jedi church business card.'Jones filed a complaint with the store and is seeking legal help. He's considering a boycott. A Tesco spokesman said that Jones wasn't banned from the store and he was asked to remove the hood so he would be able to see all the special offers.
Mr Jones claimed the store manager and staff were 'unco-operative' and left him feeling 'emotionally humiliated' for making fun of his beliefs.
'They weren't listening to me. They wasted my personal time. They were rude and not very nice to me. They had three people around me. It was intimidating.
'It was discrimination. They were making a joke against me. I was really upset. Nobody should be treated like that.
Frankly, I think a true Jedi would outsmart the supermarket staff. Heh.
