Woman Neglects Kids, Mistreats Sheep

(Bismarck, North Dakota) A 45-year-old Moffit woman, Dorothy Oster, has been accused of sending sexual text messages to a juvenile. Oster faces a charge of promoting obscenity to minors. The offense reportedly occurred in December 2009.

In an unrelated case, Oster pleaded guilty earlier this week to charges related to neglecting her children and mistreating her sheep. For the conviction, Oster was sentenced to 30 days in jail.

Moffit is a small community about 25 miles southeast of Bismarck.
