Teacher Accused of Sending Naked Pic to Student

(Summerville, South Carolina) A 25-year-old teacher at Summerville High School, Sarah Banner, has been accused of sending a picture of a woman's genitalia to a male student.

Banner has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The incident was first reported on June 2. Police say the teenage boy's parents said that the boy didn't return home as planned on June 1. When he did come home, his parents took away his phone, and restricted him to his home and his use of the car.

Officers say the parents told them that a picture came to the boy's phone from a number stored as Banner, and that the picture was of a woman's genitalia.

Banner was booked into custody and released on $5,000 bond.
