Texas Woman Accused of Sex with Boy

(Kerrville, Texas) A 24-year-old local woman, Kahilah Cardenas, has been accused of engaging in sex with a 15-year-old boy. Cardenas was arrested on Thursday after Kerrville Police were alerted by the boy's mother.

Cardenas has been charged with sex assault of a child.

According to Kerrville police, the boy snuck out of his mother’s home and got a ride to the home of Kahilah Cardenas in the 300 block of West Schreiner Street, where consensual sex took place.

“Because he is 15, consent can not be given,” said Kerrville Police Department Sgt. Mary Krebs.

Cardenas was booked into custody with bond set at $25,000.
