Woman Urged Teens to Engage in Sex

(Bethlehem, Pennsylvania) A 35-year-old local woman, Sheila Maria Vazquez, surrendered to police yesterday to face charges that she allegedly allowed and encouraged boys to have sex with two teen girls while she acted as a lookout.

Vazquez faces 92 counts each of corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of children.
Both victims were 13 at the time of the incidents, which took place from February through June 2009, police say. The boys and girls told police Vazquez acted as a lookout to make sure her husband didn't catch them.

If Vazquez's husband would arrive home from work or wake from a nap, Vazquez would stomp twice on the floor to warn the teens, they told police.

When one of the boys told Vazquez he didn't want to have sex with a girl, Vazquez called him names and would pressure him to have sex, according to court records. […]

Two boys, age 15, told police Vazquez repeatedly encouraged them to have sex with the girls. One of the girls told police the sexual encounters happened about 50 times and Vazquez was at the home for each encounter.

One girl told police Vazquez gave the boy a condom and told him to ''go do what you got to do,'' telling the teens to have sex. Vazquez provided the boys with condoms and would buy them clothing and sneakers and encourage them to have sex.
Vazquez was booked into custody at the Northampton County Prison with bail set at $50,000.
