Female Offender Pinched for Failing to Register

(Osceola County, Florida) A 41-year-old convicted child molester and designated sex offender, Rosemary Mowls, was arrested for allegedly failing to register her sex-offender status for the third time.

Mowls was originally convicted in 1996 for lewd and lascivious assault of a 16-year-old Polk County boy. She did six months on that rap.

In 1999, Mowls was collared for failing to register as a sex offender with the Osceola County Sheriff's Office and did 13 months.

In 2005, Mowls also was convicted of cocaine possession and not registering as a sex offender. She did four years in prison for those offenses.

Currently, Mowls is being held at the Osceola County Jail without bond.

[Update] Corrected age.
