Georgia Woman Accused of Rape, Child Molestation

(Kingsland, Georgia) A 25-year-old local woman, Amy Mykkanen, has been accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old boy. Mykkanen faces charges of statutory rape and child molestation.

Police investigated after the youth's parents and grandparents filed a complaint.

When police executed arrest and search warrants at the woman's home at the 200 block of Chestnut Court, they seized laptop computers with cameras and digital video cameras.

Mykkanen was booked into custody at the Camden County Jail. She awaits a bail hearing.
