Kansas Teacher Accused of Unlawful Sex

(Caney, Kansas) A 30-year-old English teacher at Caney Valley High School, Stacy Main, has been arrested for allegedly engaging in sex with a 17-year -old student. She faces a charge of unlawful sexual relations.

According to school district superintendent Danny Fulton, Main resigned on July 15. Besides being an English teacher, Main also was the director of the school band color guard.

Main was booked into custody Friday and later released $10,000 bond.
