(Boise, Idaho) In February 2010, a 23-year-old local woman, Ann M. Miller, was arrested for alleged Internet enticement of a Canadian boy under the age of 16.
Police say Johnson met the teenage boy over the Internet last year and began engaging in unspecified lewd acts, which were broadcast to each other via a web cam, beginning in June 2009, according to police reports.Reported this week, Ann Johnson was sentenced to 90 days in jail for the conviction on one count of felony child enticement over the Internet.
Boise police were tipped off about the case by the Internet Crimes Against Children task force late last year. Police investigated the case and passed the information on to Ada County prosecutors, who issued an arrest warrant for Johnson.
Johnson was also sentenced to 10 years of probation and ordered to register as a sex offender.
