Girls Coach Accused of Sex Act on Girl

(Albuquerque, New Mexico) Amber Shaw, 28, a girls basketball coach formerly at a school in the small eastern New Mexico community of Dora, has been accused of raping one of her former junior high school players.

The girl recently came forward with allegations that Amber Shaw performed a sex act on her back in 2006, and forced her to do the same.

Shaw, who now lives in Lubbock, Texas has since been arrested for child rape and molestation.

Shaw bonded out of custody after her arrest in Lubbock. She faces charges of criminal sexual penetration and criminal sexual contact with a minor, both fourth-degree felonies.
