Teacher Gets DUI as a Passenger

(Murfreesboro, Tennessee) A 46-year-old teacher at Smyrna Middle School, Glenee Taylor, has been charged with DUI by allowance stemming from an incident when she allowed a friend to drive her car while under the influence.
Murfreesboro police said art teacher Taylor and a friend, Parrish Harrell, had been drinking at the Revolver Saloon and Dance Hall early Saturday morning.

A police officer spotted the vehicle at Highway 96 and St. Andrews Drive.

When the light changed to green, the car didn't move. By the time it did, police said, Harrell crossed the center line three times, so he was pulled over.
Taylor notified her school about the arrest. Unless the school takes action, she will remain in the classroom.
