(Amsterdam, Netherlands) In European cities, Orthodox Jews fear verbal and physical attacks in public when wearing identifiable Jewish attire such as the kippah or skullcap.
Consequently, Dutch police in Amsterdam have started using decoy Jews in public to help stop the anti-Semitic attacks. It would be nice to see other European cities use a similar decoy program to suppress attacks.
In an unrelated report, authorities in Jordan are now confiscating skullcaps from Jewish men entering the country. It's for "security reasons."
Sadly, anti-Semitism is ubiquitous.
