(Meriden, Connecticut) A 27-year-old local woman, Jessica Boutin, was arrested this week after calling police to report she had been ripped off by her drug dealer.
Boutin drove to a house and paid $150 for 30 pills of Percocet, a narcotic pain reliever, police spokesman Det. Lt. Mark Walerysiak said. A woman collected the money and brought it inside the house. When police arrived, Boutin was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal attempt to possess narcotics and illegally obtaining a prescription.
A man then walked from the house to Boutin's car and handed her a bottle of pills.
When she realized the dealer had given her a bottle of Seroquel, Boutin went to the house to get her money back. No one answered the door and she called police to report the scam, Walerysiak said.
