Nebraska Woman Gets Prison for Sex with Boy, 11

(Madison, Nebraska) A 26-year-old local woman, Deanna Borer, has been convicted and sentenced for the sexual assault of an 11-year-old boy. Borer received five to 10 years in prison.

Court documents say Borer witnessed her husband in sexual acts with the boy and that she also participated in sexually assaulting the boy. Her husband also faces trial on a first-degree sexual assault charge in the case.

The judge in the case noted that Borer has a low IQ and was a victim, herself, of child sexual assault, but said that did not absolve her.

Borer was also ordered to register as a sex offender for life.
