California Teacher Accused of "Sexting" Boy

(Oxnard, California) A 24-year-old teacher Pacifica High School, Vanessa Tsakrios, has been accused of "sexting" a 17-year-old male student at the school, including the exchange of inappropriate photos with the boy.

Officers responded to the school Wednesday after receiving a report that a substitute teacher had been involved in improper conduct with the boy.

Tsakrios, a Camarillo resident, was arrested in Westlake Village Wednesday evening, police said.

Tsakrios was booked into custody at the Ventura County Jail with bail set at $500,000.
