NY Woman Accused of Raping Boy, 12

(Saugerties, New York) A 21-year-old local woman, Sarah E. Boucher, has been accused of engaging in sex with a 12-year-old boy.

Boucher faces charges of first-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child.

The arrest was made Thursday by the Ulster County Family Violence Investigation Unit following allegations that Boucher had sex with the boy, according to state police.

The case was sent to the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office Special Victims Bureau, police said.

Boucher was booked into custody at the Ulster County Jail.
