Florida Teacher Accused of Providing Booze to Minors

(Gulf County, Florida) A 30-year-old teacher at Wewahitchka High School, Denise Ethridge, has been accused of providing alcohol to minors.

Ethridge faces charges of providing alcohol to a person under 21 and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
According to the Gulf County Sheriff's Office, 30-year-old Denise Ethridge bought alcohol on two different occasions on November 3rd and provided the beverages to minors.

According to the arrest affidavit, deputies say that Ethridge purchased two six packs of Smirnoff Ice from the Express Lane in Wewahitchka, while accompanied by a juvenile, who was then seen drinking the alcoholic beverages in Ethridge's car.

The affidavit says that Ethridge went back into the store, purchased a 12-pack of Bud Light beer and then exited the store, handing a beer to another juvenile.
Ethridge was booked into custody at the Gulf County Jail. According to the sheriff's office, more charges are probable.
