(Coraopolis, Pennsylvania) A 49-year-old local woman, Pamela Smallis, has been accused of multiple child pornography charges.Smallis faces counts of child porn possession, photographing child-sex acts, sexual exploitation of children, unlawful contact, endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors, obstruction of justice and criminal use of a cell phone.
She was charged in September after investigators found video of two girls and a boy in a shower, with her voice heard directing them, on her cell phone, which had been confiscated as part of a drug investigation against Smallis and her 20-year-old son Richard.Smallis along with her son face multiple drug charges in a separate prosecution. She was booked and released on $50,000 bond.
Investigators said they found a similar video and more than 30 image files portraying minors ages 8 to 16 in various states of undress and engaging in sexual activity on the phone's memory card. The files were created between Dec. 31, 2010, and March 14, 2012, according to the complaint.
