Based upon her appearance, I would speculate that mom dabbled in drugs.A 6-month-old Toledo boy who suffered multiple skull fractures allegedly when thrown against a hard surface has died, authorities said.
Avery Glynn Bacon was pronounced dead about 11 p.m. Tuesday at Mott Children's Hospital at the University of Michigan, Toledo police said.
The boy's mother, Amanda Bacon, 25, of 504 W. Alexis Rd., was arraigned Tuesday in Toledo Municipal Court, charged with felonious assault and child endangering. Her bond was set at $1 million. Police said Tuesday they were filing a murder charge against the accused.

I suspect drugs or alcohol or both were involved.
