Carolina Woman, 43, and Boy, 15

(Newport, North Carolina) A 43-year-old Carteret County woman, Michelle Yvonne Currie, has been accused of engaging in sex with a 15-year-old boy.

Currie was charged yesterday by the Carteret County Sheriff's Office with one count of statutory rape.

Currie was booked into custody at the Carteret County Jail with bond set at $150,000.
