Donald Trump Challenges Scotland on Wind Farm

Billionaire business magnate Donald Trump has reportedly hired one of Scotland’s top legal planning experts to lead his court challenge against the Scottish government’s decision in favour of an offshore wind farm planned off the coast Trump's Aberdeenshire golf resort.

The Scotsman reported today that Trump, 66, is set to do "whatever it takes" to bring to a halt plans for a 640ft-tall, 11-turbine scheme in Aberdeen Bay, which he claims is standing in the way of completing his planned £750 million “greatest golf course in the world”.

The Trump Organisation is expected to lodge the legal challenge at the Court of Session in Edinburgh next month.
