Texas Teacher Accused of Sex with Student

(Cedar Hill, Texas) A 31-year-old health teacher at Bessie Coleman Middle School, Marlena Mints, has been accused of engaging in sex with a student.

Mints was arrested to face charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child and improper relationship with students.

Police said the alleged sexual assaults involving middle school boys happened at school and at her home.

The arrest warrant affidavit states another coach at the school was giving a student a ride home. The student began bragging about having sexual contact with the health teacher Marlena Mints.

The affidavit also states in January, Mints invited a 13-year-old male student into the training room at the middle school. The student told investigators he exposed himself for her to see. The student also told detectives that he has been allowed to touch her inappropriately, on numerous occasions, while spending time in her classroom in the presence of other students who were also allowed to do the same.
