Ohio Woman Accused of Burglary, Caught Fleeing Topless

(Elyria, Ohio) A 29-year-old local woman, Scarlet Byrge, has been arrested for attempted burglary after being discovered stealing a television from a home. The homeowner's son-in-law, Terry Vickery, called the police.

Byrge will likely be charged with breaking and entering, attempted theft and fleeing.
After Vickery walked in and found Byrge, he attempted to lock her in the home while he called police. However, Byrge broke through the bedroom window and ran down the street, yelling that she was pregnant, police said.

When Vickery followed her and grabbed her shirt in an attempt to stop her, Byrge took off her shirt and kept running topless until she was stopped by parole Officer Tom Guyer at the 10000 block of Middle Avenue.
Details on booking are unavailable.

Elyria is the next town south of me, about 5-miles away and is the county seat.

The whole area is hooked on Heroin and its a big problem in the area.
Lot of overdose deaths.

Don't go out at night, don't carry large amounts of cash and lock-up everything.
