Nebraska Babysitter Sentenced for Sex with Boy - Update
(Kearney, Nebraska) In Buffalo County District Court, 33-year-old Elizabeth L. Munsinger has been convicted and sentenced for performing a sex act on a 2- to 3-year-old boy.
Munsinger was sentenced to six months in jail for felony attempted first-degree sexual assault of the boy.
Judge John Icenogle gave her four days credit for time served in jail. She was approved for work or school release.Munsinger was also placed on four years of probation.
Munsinger faced one to 20 years in prison.
Under her probation, she must complete treatment programs in outpatient counseling, sex offender counseling and cognitive group therapy and must continue her mental health care medication.

(Kearney, Nebraska) A 32-year-old local woman, Elizabeth L. Munsinger, has been accused of engaging in sex with a very young child.
Munsinger faces one count of felony first-degree sexual assault of a boy.
Munsinger was arrested Tuesday following an interview at the Kearney/Buffalo County Law Enforcement Center.Munsinger was booked into custody and released on $10,000 bond.

Crimestoppers received a report of an alleged sexual contact between Munsinger and the 2- or 3-year-old child.
The investigation revealed sometime between 1999-2003, Munsinger was baby-sitting for three children in Kearney. As she watched a TV program about some type of adult nudity or pornographic content, Munsinger allegedly performed a sex act on the boy. An older child was present at the time of the incident and allegedly told Munsinger to stop.
