Florida Teacher Accused of Drug & Obstruction Offenses

(Tampa, Florida) A 39-year-old teacher at Eisenhower Middle School, Roxanne Lynn Reamer, has been arrested for obstruction of justice, false reporting the commission of a crime and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
Hillsborough County sheriff’s deputies arrested her at her home at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. They were there to arrest Joseph Landreth, 45, on outstanding warrants. Landreth was wanted on warrants charging him with dealing in stolen property, grand theft and providing false information to a pawn broker.

During the arrest, deputies had a confrontation with Reamer, who tried to conceal Landreth’s whereabouts, though she was aware he was wanted on the felony charges, deputies said.

She told deputies Landreth broke into her residence, but deputies later learned he did not break into the apartment and that he had lived there for the past four months.

Deputies said Reamer refused to comply with orders to put her hands behind her back.
Reamer was booked and released on $2,500 bail.
