Missouri Teacher and Student

(Webb City, Missouri) A 30-year-old former choir teacher at Webb City High School, Carrie Njoroge, has been accused of engaging in sexual contact with a student.

According to a probable cause statement and Webb City police, Carrie Njoroge, 30, Oronogo, had consensual sexual intercourse with an 18-year old male student in her office at Webb City High School during the evening hours of April 15.

The student allegedly told law enforcement that he and Njoroge had participated in an ongoing relationship for approximately three months. The relationship involved oral sex on multiple occasions and sexual intercourse on April 15, according to the affidavit.

Njoroge resigned her teaching position on April 18.
