Carolina Woman Accused of Sex Crimes

(Pitt County, North Carolina) A 20-year-old local female, Juana Sutton, has been accused of sex crime charges involving a boy.

Sutton faces counts of statutory rape and indecent liberties with a child.

Officials say the victim is a boy between 4 and 6 years younger than the suspect.

Sutton was arrested after the Department of Social Services contacted the sheriff’s office with evidence of an inappropriate relationship between the two, according to officials.

Sutton was booked into custody at the Pitt County Detention Center with bond set at $200,000.
