Indiana Teacher Gets Probation for Child Seduction - Update

A former special education teacher at Woodlan Jr/Sr High School who admitted to having a relationship with a then 17-year-old was sentenced to three years of probation on Tuesday.

Paige Mostella pleaded guilty to a child seduction charge in January.

Mostella will also have to undergo sex offender counseling.

(Fort Wayne, Indiana) A 29-year-old teacher formerly at Woodlan High School, Paige E. Mostella (aka Paige Groves), has been accused of engaging in sex with a 17-year-old student.

Mostella faces two Class D-felony counts of child seduction.

The teen told police he and Mostella, also known as Paige Groves, would frequently play fight in her office. According to court documents, Mostella was employed as a special education teacher at Woodlan High School at the time of the incidents.

The teen said during one of those times, he became sexually aroused and rubbed himself on her yoga pants.

During their second encounter, the teen said he asked her if he could have sex with her and she allowed it, according to court documents.

The third time the two had a sexual encounter, it was during a Saturday track meet.
