Moving to Detroit? Take Along a Weapon

Detroit Police Chief James Craig has advised residents to carry guns

(Detroit, Michigan) Chief Craig wants “good” and “law-abiding” Detroiters to arm themselves against criminals. According to John Roman, a senior fellow at the Urban Institute,
“I think it’s a disaster. How do you grow a city when you say to people who are thinking about moving there: ‘When you move here, bring a weapon.’ Who’s going to want to move there?”
Not me.

Depending on how they prosecute, when I was a bit younger, due to the low buy in price? I would have. So long as shooting a criminal isn't prosecuted unrighteously. I simply won't be bullied, threatened, or attacked. If I can deal with those things, in that environment, as is required by reason... no problem.

I doubt if Detroit will ever come back. Not as a grand city. But it will consolidate and begin again, sooner or later. It's the new urban frontier. If you buy well, and right, you could actually make a decent spread in the long haul. If you can keep it, and stay alive.
