NY Woman Accused of Rape of Person Under 17

(Oneida County, New York) A 30-year-old local woman, Dawn Seifert, has been accused of engaging in sex with a person under the age of 17.

Seifert faces a charge of third-degree rape.

The arrest came following a two-week investigation handled by an Oneida County sheriff's investigator assigned to the Child Advocacy Center.

Seifert was booked into custody at the Oneida County Correctional Facility with bond set at $5,000.
