Georgia Mom Accused of Shoplifting and Child Cruelty
(Macon, Georgia) A local woman, Ashley Lynn Heichelbech, has been accused of shoplifting and running away while leaving her baby behind.
According to the indictment filed Tuesday in Macon-Bibb Superior Court, 25-year-old Ashley Lynn Heichelbech of Macon was charged and indicted on charges of cruelty to children and theft by shoplifting.Heichelbech is in custody with bond set at $6,350.
The indictment says, on Dec.2, 2014, Heichelbech allegedly stole clothes and other items from the Walmart on Harrison Road in Macon.
During the theft, Heichelbech was approached by store security guards, and ran away, leaving her 1-year-old son in a shopping cart at the store.
