(Muskegon, Michigan) A 33-year-old former treasurer for a Parent Teacher Organization, Jordann Nicole Lockhart, has pleaded guilty to embezzling nearly $50,000.

Lockhart, 33, of Muskegon pleaded guilty as charged Monday morning, March 2, to embezzlement by agent or trustee of between $20,000 and $50,000.

Muskegon County 14th Circuit Chief Judge William C. Marietti committed to cap Lockhart's incarceration at 90 days in the Muskegon County Jail, with the maximum reduced to 60 days if she pays $5,000 in restitution by the time of her sentencing.

Sentencing is scheduled for April 7.
