Colorado Woman Gets Prison for Murder

A suburban Denver woman accused of beating a man to death with a baseball bat because she suspected him of sexually molesting a child has been sentenced to 38 years in prison.Reportedly, Owen's molestation claims are unfounded.
The Arapahoe County District Attorney's Office says 32-year-old Forsythia Owen, of Englewood, was sentenced Friday. She was convicted of second-degree murder, first-degree assault and tampering with evidence in the September 2013 death of 42-year-old Denzel Rainey.
