NJ Teacher's Aide Gets Prison for Student Sex - Update

Melissa Bradley, a former Belleville High School teacher's aide who was accused of having sexual relations with two high school students, was sentenced to three years in prison on May 1 by Essex County Superior Court Judge Martin Cronin in Newark.

According to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, she must also register as a sex offender under Megan's Law, and will be subject to lifetime parole supervision.
Bradley pleaded guilty in February to endangering the welfare of a child.

(Belleville, New Jersey) A 27-year-old teacher’s aide at Belleville High School, Melissa Bradley, has been accused of engaging in sex acts with two male students.

Bradley faces seven counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
The acts allegedly occurred between May 2013 and February 2014 with one of the students, and between January and March of this year with the other boy, Carter said.

The boys were both born in 1996 - one just recently turned 18, and the other is still 17, Carter confirmed.
Bradley was booked into custody with bail set at $500,000.
