Pennsylvania Educator Accused of Sex with Student

A former Ringgold High School guidance counselor today was charged with having a sexual relationship with a high school football player.

Rostraver police said Lianne Danko, 33, of Rostraver, was charged with three counts of institutional sexual assault.

According to a criminal complaint, Ms. Danko engaged in an inappropriate relationship beginning in October with an 18-year-old male student who was seeing her to discuss his relationship problems. The two began a sexual relationship sometime in November, police said.

Danko was booked and released on $50,000 bond.
