New Mexico Woman Gets Prison

(Las Cruces, New Mexico) Rebecca Gomez, 30, pleaded no contest to murder and kidnapping in the slaying of Jerome Saiz, 37.

Saiz was beaten to death with a wooden bat.

Gomez was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
