HOW TO GET OUT OF JURY DUTY

(Canandaigua, New York) It's been suggested that smoking marijuana has a dramatic negative impact on reasoning ability and this story would support that contention. A woman was called for jury duty and had to submit to an obligatory security search prior to entering the courthouse.

Breanne Pogue is facing charges after authorities say they found pot in her bag at the Ontario County Courthouse in western New York. Deputies searched the bag when they saw something suspicious on an X-ray scan.

Obviously, she was excused from jury duty.

Since she was dumb enough to try to enter the courthouse with illegal drugs, one has to wonder if she was also dumb enough to think that it would be a good way to get out of jury duty.
